Annie was an owner surrender to a shelter in St. George, UT. She had been in the shelter for over a month when the shelter issued her a euthanasia date. She was scheduled to be PTS, when a rescue group in Utah, emailed us asking if we could help her. She is such a gorgeous, sweet girl, we could not say no. We opened up foster room and brought her and Colby down to our program.

She was in foster care for a couple weeks while we got her spayed, vetted and used to being in a home. She did wonderful with the animals, people and new surroundings.

A wonderful woman named Elizabeth emailed us and was looking for a companion for her black lab, Jordan and herself. A few days after her home visits were done, Elizabeth happily picked up sweet Annie and took her home. Her and Jordan hit it off amazingly well and she is being spoiled to the max with her new family.

With Thanksgiving approaching it seems an opportune time to write Annie’s happy tail.  She is such a love and lives to have fun.  With Jordan just growing out of her puppy-hood, I had no intention of getting another dog.  I was just browsing the internet when I came across Annie’s little face on LVLR’s website.  I impulsively emailed Lisa and am so glad that I did!  Annie and Jordan are absolutely best friends.  If they are not chasing they are wrestling, and if lazy Jordie needs a break, that is okay because Annie is content to just lie next to her and chew on her head or legs.  They have taught each other new tricks, as well.  Jordan taught Annie to counter surf and Annie taught Jordan to attack shoes when people walk down the stairs.  Jordan taught Annie to swim in Lake Mead, and Annie taught Jordan to swim in the bathtub while it is draining.  They are two little troublemakers, but they are so much fun!  LVLR, thank you so much for Annie!
