Bisquit's Story

 

Bisquit was an owner surrender due to the family moving to a home not accepting as many animals as they had. They surrendered him to us along with his brother, Nugget.

Bisquit had plenty of emails come in almost immediately, but one in particular stuck out as a great fit for him.

Ian and his family were approved and met Bisquit on the same day. It was an instant match and he is now being spoiled beyond belief and just loving his new life!

I would like to tell everyone our Happy Tail.  Over the last several years we have wanted a dog.  However we needed to wait till we were ready.  Once the kids were ready and old enough and our home was ready, we set out to look for a good dog.  After going to the local pound (which is still a good choice for some) and not finding a suitable dog for our family I started to scour the internet for breeders (wow) and luckly came across lasvegaslabrescue.com.  We wanted a puppy but needed a housetrained animal.  We eventually ran across Biscuit, a handsom young black lab.  After going through all the steps we were finally able to have Biscuit come visit our house.  Ever since he arrived he has been daddy's boy.  We took him to the mountains the very next day and have spent countless hours playing with him and going for walks and parks.  As with any young dog he needs some training, but he is the best dog I have ever owned.  Smart, gentle with the kids, listens and is just a loving dog.  The best part about getting Biscuit from lasvegaslabrescue.com is I know I am getting a dog that came from a good healthy loving source.  The owners of lasvegaslabrescue.com and all the foster parents are genually caring people and love the dogs that come into their care.  And they take great care to make sure each pet is placed into the right home.  We are possibly thinking of even getting a second dog if it fits into our family and space and would think of no other place to go to get a good Lab!
