Cali girl was another that was saved by that awesome shelter we work with in Arizona. She was a stray found in the area by the shelter. They brought her in and a couple weeks later, Lori brought her and Brutus down to us.

Cali was sent to our Southern California foster family to recover from her spay and get used to being an inside dog.

Over the few weeks that they had her, we got tons of interest emails on her. One of those emails came from a family that had already been approved to adopt from LVLR (Just waiting for the right dog for them). They agreed to wait it out until our Petco Adoption Day when Calil would be in town.

Finally that Saturday arrived and they came by to meet this sweet girl. Immediately they fell in love and took her inside and came out half an hour later with bags of new stuff for their new girl.

We had been looking for months for a new dog. We have two dogs, Elway and Suzi, and were seeking a new friend.  We looked at shelters but we didn’t have “the feeling” with any of them. So we tried online at Petfinder.com.   My mom saw an ad and started e-mailing Lisa. She told us about LVLR and the website. We tried it out, and stumbled across Cali.   She looked so playful, friendly and cute.   We absolutely had to meet her.   We waited until the promised day arrived.   We were so excited!  We met and instantly fell in love. We took her inside Pets mart and spent some time with her.  We bought her toys, and a bowl.  We took her home and our dogs instantly befriended her. We are so thankful to Lisa for bringing such a jewel to our family.
