Miss Callie had a long journey to finally get to the place she will forever call home, but it was well worth it!

Callie was a stray found on the side of the road near the shelter we work with in Arizona. We brought Callie into our program (Her name was Twyla, while with us) right before the fourth of July. She immediately wormed her way into her foster mom's heart (close to a foster failure!). Everyone that met her just were instantly in love. Which is why it confused us so bad that we had this sweet girl for well over a MONTH without so much as a decent lead on her.

She was having some adjustment issues (health wise) getting used to the Vegas heat and having to live in a very active household. She had to go back up to the shelter she was found near once to seek vet care. After a clean bill of health, she came back down to us with still no interest.

Just when Jill thought she may have another dog added to her family, we got an email out of nowhere from an amazing woman in Arizona. She had seen Callie on the Rottie Rescue site (We asked them to courtesy list for us). Her application checked out beyond our expectations and after a very quick home check, we put the plan in action to get Callie to her forever home.

Mindy drove all the way to Vegas to pick her up and just fell in love with her the whole ride home. She is settling in very nicely with her new family and they love her to peices!
