Dakota's Story
This sweet guy was
surrended by his owner as well. LVLR had a waiting list
for a young, yellow male at the time, so I knew he would
be gone in a heartbeat.
I emailed everyone on
the list with an application - and Jacob and Jenn
immediately responded. After clearing the application
and references, we went out to do a home visit. Since
everything went better than perfect - they took Dakota
that day.
Below is the story they
have written about their experience with LVLR and
adopting Dakota.
My wife and I
were looking into getting a new yellow lab
puppy and after finding Las Vegas Labrador
Rescue on the akc website we contacted Lisa and
were put on the waiting list. About a month
later on a Friday morning we received an email
with a picture of our new puppy. He looked
perfect and after seeing him for about 5 minutes
and going thru the application process, we
decided that this was the dog for us. We
received him at 7 months old and Dakota is now
almost 8 months old, and a very healthy and
energetic little fella.
We are going to
really enjoy taking him out to our boat, cabin,
and on numerous hikes.
