This sweet girl was also an owner surrender, due to the family not having the "time" to dedicate to her. The owners brother and wife decided to try to take her in but sadly, it did not work out, so they contacted us. We brought her in and got her spayed. She spent about a week or so with our foster family, when Lori set up a time to meet her. Lori had recently adopted Jake (another LVLR dog, see the Happy Tails page for Jake's story) and decided King Jake needed a playmate.

After an awesome first meeting, Miss Maddie was at her forever home. She now spends her days with her new family and her awesome big brother, Jake.

Lori wrote the following about adopting Maddie.

My husband Bill & I adopted our dog Jake from LVLR back in March and as time went on I noticed that anytime Jake got around other dogs he was so excited and wanted to play with them, so I thought it was a good idea to get him a playmate, we have enough love in our hearts and room for another pup in our life so that is where Maddie our princess comes in, she is just a love, very smart and full of energy which is good for Jake. Maddie and Jake they do a lot of playing and bitey face which is so cute, but I think my favorite is to watch them groom each other lick each other's face.  Maddie is a great addition to our family she has made it whole and I am very happy to have such a beautiful girl.  We have started training her on a few things she needed help with and she is doing great, she has adjusted to our routine very well and I look forward to Maddie and Jake growing old together.  I once again want to thank Lisa and Jill for all there hard work to bring Maddie into our lives and to her forever home.

Thanks again,

Bill & Lori
