This adorable Black Lab/Weim mix was surrendered to a volunteer of LVLR's because of irresponsible breeding. After she couldn't sell off the pups for a nice profit, she was on her way to dump them at the shelter.

A rescue volunteer stepped up and took in the two pups (See Bailey's story) and a few weeks later, they were brought to Las Vegas to be adopted out.

A great family from Arizona applied for Madison and a few weeks later, they drove up to take her to her new life.

She has a new sister and is loving life in Arizona!

UPDATE - We are very sad to update that while undergoing her spay, sweet Maddie suffered from unforeseeable complications and passed while under. She was only 5 months old. She was only with her family for a short time, but she made a lasting impression. RIP, sweet girl. You'll never be forgotten.
