| Maisie's Story -
Maisie was
an owner surrender due to her family not having enough
time to spend with her. We picked this sweet girl up and
she immediately stole our hearts. She was completely
housebroken, crate trained, knew all of her commands and
was great with kids and other dogs.
Maisie
spent a couple weeks in our foster home and then was
adopted out to Becky (Who adopted both Ciara and
Loder)'s mom. They immediately bonded and now they are
both loving life!
Life was getting
a little lonely in my house. My daughter,
son-in-law, and 2 grandpups had moved out in
January, into their own home, and I was on my own.
Just when I thought that the fish, left by my kids,
and I were going to start bonding, along came the
opportunity to adopt Maisie.
I met Maisie on Friday, May 19 at her
foster home. She was very sweet and affectionate,
greeting myself, my daughter Becky, and Lisa from
the Lab Rescue; she was also very good with the
children of the foster care folks. On Monday, May
22, I picked Maisie up and brought her home. For
being an older dog, 8 years old, Maisie is very
active and spry. She has taken to our family quite
well. She is a joy and I am no longer lonely.
