Max was found as a stray in rural Kansas. The shelter we work with out there had him for a month and became so inundated with dogs that his life was suddenly at risk. Since they only have so much room, and him being a big, black dog, nobody was interested.

LVLR stepped in and pulled him. As soon as Maxim got here to Las Vegas, he stole everybody's heart. He was just as sweet as could be and we knew he would make a great addition to someone's home.

A few weeks went by without any applications, which is really unlike LVLR, but we knew we shouldn't worry. During that time, he had some parasite problems that were being worked on, as well as an allergy on his foot. As luck would have it, as he was on the mend, three families emailed and applied for him within a day of eachother!

One of those families was someone who had adopted from us prior (See Zola's story) and as soon as he and Zola met him, he stole their hearts as well.

After his meds were gone, his foster home adopted him out and he is now in his new home living the dream life!
