Annie - 2 year old black female
Annie
(formerly Shadow) was
an owner surrender to a high kill shelter. She was
adopted out twice, only to be returned a day later
because she was "too shy"/"too timid" and she was
deathly scared of men. We stepped in and saved her
before she was going to be PTS.
We brought
her to Las Vegas, got her spayed and vaccinated and then
placed in one of our foster homes. The first email
update I got from them was that she was NOT any more
scared of men than she was of everything new in general.
After about a week, she started warming up and by the
3rd week in her foster home, she was happily greeting
them when they came home and just loving her life.
Unfortunately for sweet Annie, she was adopted out to a
woman and after 7 months of flourishing in her care, she
surrendered her back to us because her grandson whom she
babysat a few days a week had developed severe allergies
to dogs.
Lucky for
Annie, her real forever mom, a nurse here in Las Vegas,
saw her face and immediately felt a real connection.
Annie was adopted her and has just finally found her
real place.
Stay tuned
for her happy tail!
