Tuscon's Story
Tuscon is a gorgeous girl who was sitting in a shelter
in Kansas on death row. Someone cross posted her picture
and we jumped in to save her. With the help of a few
great people in the area, we were able to pull her and
get her flown to Las Vegas.
She
came into her foster home and fit right in. They worked
with her and tried getting her to trust people easier.
After just a couple weeks, a great family scooped her
up. She now lives with her new mom and Dad in Las Vegas.
Tuscon's new family has written the following of their
experience with adopting Tuscon.
Last Sept. we lost two great dogs to a long term
battle with cancer. We realized we needed some time
to grieve and mourn the loss of our beloved pets.
Over Christmas we decided our home was “too quiet”
and we were ready for a new member. We saw the Lab
Rescue internet site and fell in love with the two
dogs advertised for adoption. We put in our
application and Tucson was eventually brought to our
home. We loved her immediately. She was kind of
quiet and sad at first, but blossoms a little more
every day. She loves our outings to the “doggy
park”, rides in the truck, and daily walks. Tucson
has helped us by bringing the joy of having a dog
back into our lives. We thank Lisa and the Lab
Rescue crew for bringing us such a great dog!
